< Time Off < How to Book Time Off For Admin or Staff
Both administrators can book periods of absence from the business on behalf of the pet sitters that they manage (or for themselves if they are active pet sitters) and staff can request time off themselves from the staff interface.
ON DESKTOP:
Navigate to Scheduler > Schedule > Time Off
STEP 1
How can Admins book Time Off for Staff?

To book time off for a staff member, firstly navigate to their staff record.
- From the menu, select "Staff Interface" and then change the tab in your browser so you are looking at the staff interface view.
STEP 2
How can Time Off be booked by Admins and Staff in the Staff Interface?
- Click the "Time Off"' option from the staff interface menu.
- Click the days your staff member is unavailable in the year planner (the days you have clicked will become highlighted in yellow).

When you have highlighted all the days you require, click "Update".
This will then automatically generate an email to the administrator requesting the dates you have selected.
