< Scheduling Functions for Services in Column View < Editing a Service

You may need to edit a single service, or multiple services, on your schedule. For instance, you might need to change a dog walk to a different time or time block on a certain day per client request, or you may need to update the pet sitter for an Overnight service. Or perhaps your pet sitter calls out sick on a certain day, so you need to re-assign all of her dog walks, for multiple clients, to another walker.


To make changes to single or multiple services from the Column View of the Schedule, you can use the Edit button above the Schedule.

See further information on how to access the Service Report (Pet Visit Notes), the service Activity (acknowledged/completed markers, GPS check-in/check-out data), a Map of the client's location and assigning Keys.


Navigate to Scheduler > Schedule > Column View


How Do I Make Changes to One or Multiple Services from the Column View?

  • To edit one or more services from the Column View of the Schedule, select the service(s) by checking the box to the left of the service.

  • Then click "Edit...".


  • Make the necessary changes in the Edit Services screen.

  • In this example, we are changing the time block from 11:00am-1:00pm to 9:00am-11:00am.

  • Note that you could also change the: 

    • Date​

    • Service Item

    • Time

    • Time Block

    • Show Time setting

    • Staff 

    • Quantity

    • Unit Charge

    • Compensation

    • Diary/Schedule Ref override

  • You can also add Invoice Notes and Staff Notes.

  • Once you've made your changes to the service(s), click "Update".

  • Once you click "Update," your changes will be automatically reflected in the Schedule and in the client's service order.


        ON MOBILE 



  • Tap the Navigator, and select Scheduler > Schedule > Column View



  • To Edit services from the column view, navigate to the services you need to edit. 

  • Select the service(s) by putting a check in the checkbox(es).

    • You can check individual services, or use the "All" checkbox to select all services.​

  • Then tap the "Actions" button.


  • Tap "Edit..." to edit the selected service(s). 


  • Use the Edit options to make the changes to your service(s).

    • In this example, we tapped the "Time Block" drop-down and selected 1:00pm-3:00pm.

  • ​​Click "Done".

  • Tap "Update" when finished or tap the "X" in the upper right corner to return the the Schedule without saving your changes.

  • Your saved changes will take immediate effect on the Schedule, and in the client's service order.
