< Scheduling Functions for Services in Column View < Voiding Services

Use the void function when you have made a scheduling error that you want to correct. For example, if you have booked a service for a client on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and it turns out that the client did not book the Wednesday, you can use the Void function to correct this.

Services that are voided:

  • will remain on your service order "greyed out" and marked "Void" so that it is easy to distinguish them from "un-voided" jobs

  • are removed from the administrators schedule and the staff schedule so that the work does not get carried out

  • will be removed from client quotes and invoices (the client does not need to see your scheduling errors)

  • will be removed from staff compensation reports (your staff do not need to see your scheduling errors)

NOTE: Voided jobs can be re-instated if they were voided in error.

Voided services appear in the service order (voided) but do not appear on the invoice.

ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Scheduler > Schedule > Column View
STEP 1

 

How Do I Void One or Multiple Services from the Column View?

  • To void one or more services, select the service(s) by checking the box to the left of the service, or

  • ​Use the "All" checkbox above the Schedule to select all services​.

  • Then click "Void".

​STEP 2

Once you void a service, it will automatically be removed from the default "Scheduled & Completed" view of the Schedule.

  • However, to view your voided services, simply click the drop-down menu for "Scheduled & Completed Services" and select "Void Services Only".​

  • This will display your voided services for the given time period.

​STEP 3

  • Voided services will remain in the client's service Order.

  • They will be clearly marked "Void".

  • Note that you can "un-void" any service by selecting it and clicking the "Void" button.

  • The voided service(s) will not show on the client's invoice​.

        ON MOBILE 

STEP 1

 

  • Tap the Navigator, and select Scheduler > Schedule > Column View

  

STEP 2

  • To Void services from the column view, navigate to the services you need to void.

  • Use the right/left arrows in the column header to move through the columns on the Schedule (Morning, Midday, etc).

  • Select the service(s) by tapping the checkbox(es).

  • You can select individual services, or use the "All" checkbox to select all services​.

  • Tap "Actions".

STEP 3

  • Tap "Void" to void the selected service(s).

STEP 4

Your voided services will be removed from the "Scheduled & Completed" view of the Schedule.

  • To view your Void Services, you can sort your schedule by tapping the drop-down menu at the top of the page and selecting "Void Services Only".
