Pet Sitter Plus has a powerful online booking component that enables clients to book pet sitting services. This important functionality forms part of the Client Portal.
The service request processing function is first and foremost a "holding place" where requested services can be viewed, edited, added to and made subject to an approval "workflow" prior to scheduling.
When a service is booked via the Client Portal, it is seldom the case that you would want that service to be added directly to your live schedule without approving it first. So the service request processing function allows you to ensure the order is correct and that you are available to provide those services, prior to accepting and scheduling the work. At this point you can also decline the request if your sitter is unavailable or you simply do not wish to provide the services.
ON DESKTOP:
STEP 1
There are three ways to access any service requests that have been requested via the Client Portal:
1. Click Scheduler > Schedule > Service Requests.
All of the columns can be sorted so you can view the Service Requests by order of preference.
How do I sort the columns into order?

Click on the header bar above the column you wish to re-order, for example:

Click on "Client" and the list will be re-sorted into client alphabetical order, or
-
Click on "Dates" to view the list in start date order.

2. Or click on the red Service Requests box to access the list of service requests that are awaiting processing. The red icon indicates the number of online service requests that need to be processed.

3. Alternatively click the "Clients with outstanding service requests" link in the "Requiring Attention" panel on the Home screen.
