The Missing Location notification will be triggered in the Staff Activity report if:

  • There is no GPS data available when the staff member checks-in or out, OR

  • The Admin enters a different check-in or out time, so there is no GPS location recorded for the new time entered. 

When will the Missing Location notification be triggered in the Staff Activity report?

 

  • In this example, the GPS location has not been recorded at the time of the check-in or out - see GPS Accuracy Meter for a more detailed explanation of these figures.

  • There is an additional note added to the check-in and/or check-out times of "(no location)" when the location is missing.

  • Once you have noted the issue, you can click "Dismiss" to tidy up your report.

Don't forget, you can change the period of time of your report at any time. See View Staff Activity for more information on how to do this.

ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Scheduler > Monitor > Staff Activity

How do I view the Missing location notification on the Staff Activity Report?

  • Choose a date range for your report. Eg. If you click "Today" it will go straight to the report, or

  • Click "Reload" to see all staff activity within the date range specified.

You can see that the "Missing location" has been triggered as it appears the staff member has not checked in to their scheduled service.

STEP 2

  • Click either the check-in or check-out time to display the recorded location map.

  • You can see that there is no map pin with an "O" on it for a check-out as the GPS location was not available at the time the staff member checked-out at 4:07pm.

  • The map will also not display a map pin if you have manually adjusted the check-in or out times as there is now no GPS data available to give you a map location of the staff member's whereabouts at that time.

STEP 3

If you have a large team of staff, your report will probably be quite long. You can choose to view just the results for the "Missing location" notification in your Staff Activity report to make it easier to contact the particular staff members involved.

  • Click on the dropdown for "All Services" and choose "Missing location".

  • Click "Reload".

  • If you wish, you can change the date range for this report and click "Reload" again.

  • Tap the down arrow on the right to choose a date range for your report. Eg. If you tap "Today" it will go straight to the report, or

  • Tap "Reload" to see all staff activity within the date range specified.

You can see that the "Not at registered location" has been triggered as it appears the staff member has not checked in to their scheduled service.
