< Understanding the Planner < Example: Overnight Services
Overnight services are where the pet sitter stays overnight at a client's home caring for one or more pets. To monitor this in the Planner you should have set the resource cost for the service item plus the capacity for the staff member. See Setting up the Planner and Setting Capacity for Staff for more information.
ON DESKTOP:
Navigate to Scheduler > Schedule > Planner
STEP 1
How Does an Overnight Service display in the Planner?
By default, the planner displays the current month. You can move between months by using the forward and back arrows next to the month.
Capacity:

The "Cap" column indicates "Capacity".

In this example, we can monitor the staff member "Debby". For "Overnight" services "Capacity" will always be 1 as it is only possible to provide overnight services for one client at a time.

Note that "Capacity" is only for indication purposes and does not prevent additional bookings from being processed when a pet sitter is oversubscribed.

Planner quantity indicators:

A number indicates that there is an "Overnight" booking allocated to a pet sitter on any given day.

Blank space indicates that the staff member is available but not booked.

Clicking on any of the numbers will display the booking detail below the planner.
