There are lots of potential uses for this fantastic new feature;
Have you ever wished that you could make a note on a quote or an invoice reminding you to contact the client about something on a certain date?
Maybe you need to send out a quote or an invoice on a particular day?
Maybe you like to record notes when a client has not paid their bill so that your administrative colleagues can share that information?
Whatever your requirement, there is now a new function in release 5.8.1 that enables you to record notes against quotes and invoices.
Notes made on a quote are passed on to the invoice when the invoice is created.
Additional notes can then be made on the invoice once created.
When an invoice is voided, the notes associated with that invoice stay with the voided invoice.
