< Column View < Reset Compensation in Column View
When a sitter gets a raise, it is often a requirement to re-calculate their compensation for all services that have already been scheduled (to the new rate).
It is possible to update compensation “order by order,” but this can be time consuming.
An easy way to re-calculate compensation for one or more sitters between any date range in a single action is by using the “Reset Compensation” function in the Schedule.
Note: In order to use this function you will need to firstly make sure you have set up the correct Staff Types for the increased pay raise, and have set up the correct Compensation Conditions for your new staff type. See How do I add a compensation condition that relates to Staff Type?
ON DESKTOP:
Navigate to Admin > Staff > click the staff member's name > Settings > Staff Type

How Do I Reset Compensation for a Staff Member from the Column View?
Once you have determined that you would like to give a sitter a raise, you can update their Staff Type to the higher pay level on their Staff Account.

Select the new staff type from the drop down list for the increased pay level.

Click "Update" to save.

Navigate to Admin > Services > Service Items > click on the service > Compensation Conditions

You will need to ensure you have added the Staff Types (pay levels) as Compensation Conditions on each of your services.

Navigate to Scheduler > Schedule > Column View

Navigate to the Column View of the Schedule to reset compensation.

Select the pet sitter for whom you need to reset compensation from the "All Staff" drop-down.

Set the date range for which compensation needs to be reset, ie. "This Week".

Select the individual services during the set time period for which you need to reset compensation or click the "All" checkbox to select all services for that time period.

Click "Reset Compensation".

All of the selected services on the Schedule will be automatically reset with the new pay rate.
ON MOBILE
STEP 1

Once you have updated the pet sitter's Staff Type on their staff account, and the new Staff Type and pay rate are listed as Compensation Conditions on your services (see above), navigate to Scheduler > Schedule > Column View
STEP 2

Select the pet sitter by tapping the two double-arrows to the left of "Scheduled & Completed Services".

From the staff drop-down menu, tap on "All Staff", select the pet sitter, then tap "Done".

Set the time period for which you need to reset compensation by tapping the down-arrow next to "Services for Today", ie. Today, This Week, or This Month or set a custom date range and tap "Reload".

Check off the services during the set time period for which you need to reset compensation or click the "All" checkbox to select all services for that time period.

Tap the "Actions" button.

Then tap "Reset Compensation".
