In the Staff Activity Report, a notification for "Short Service" is recorded. This is a useful function where the time duration of a service is very specific, such as a 30-minute dog walk. For example, the "short service" notification will be triggered if the staff member checks-out before 30 minutes duration if you have included a time in this setting.

To enable this reporting function to work, you will need to set an appropriate service duration in this field, which will define the amount of time staff should usually spend on delivering this service. 

Note: This must be set on EVERY service that you wish to report on. If this parameter is not set for any service, it will not be recorded on the Staff Activity Report and the notification will not be triggered.

Navigate to Admin > Settings > Service Items > Services > Timecard

  • Enter a time (in minutes) in the field "Nominal Service Duration (Minutes)", eg. 30 minutes.

  • Click "Update".
