After considering any notifications that have been triggered in the Staff Activity report, or after speaking with your staff, you may wish to edit a check-in or check-out time if there is an error or the staff member has make a mistake.

  • There is an additional note added to the check-in and/or check-out times of "(no location)" when the times have been adjusted. This is because there is no GPS location recorded for the staff member for the new time, ie. Pet Sitter Plus does not know "where" the staff member was for the new time so it cannot record any location data.

ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Scheduler > Monitor > Staff Activity

How do I edit the Check-in or Check-out time?

The process is exactly the same for both. In this example, we will edit the check-out time. The staff member has obviously made a mistake as the check-out time is only nine minutes after the check-in time for a 20 minute service. The staff member has asked you to adjust this. Note also the "short service" notification has been triggered.

  • Click "Adjust Times..."

STEP 2

  • Enter a new time for the check-out, eg. 10:26am from the dropdown.

  • Click "Update" to save.

The new check-out time of 10:26am is displayed and the staff member's timecard will be adjusted.

As the GPS location for the new time is not known, the words "(no location)" are added after the times. Note also that the "short service" notification has disappeared.
